Everyone loves to talk about themselves, but most people tend to also feel a little self-conscious about it at the same time. I think that gene skipped me. If I can say anything about me that remains constant, it is that I am always changing. My hair and facial hair, my clothing style, the music I am listening to at the moment (too many genres to just pick one!), my hobbies ( just ask my wife!), and even my careers. In addition to fitness, photography is something that has been in my life for a very long time, especially for me. I have a bachelor of arts in commercial photography and advertising. I have assisted LA fashion and fitness photographers. I have shot ringside for MMA fights, and I have run a business for 20 years, shooting weddings, portraits, and events. I find myself at a time in my life when I feel I can be a bit more picky about the photography jobs that I choose. I am finally free to pass on jobs that may not spark an interest or passion for me. As far as clientele, I am looking for shoots that are inspired and clients with a ton of personality to get across in their photos. As this is no longer my primary income source, I am getting a little more choosy. That doesn't mean I am stuck up, but when I work as a photographer, I need to be creative. I love to make beautiful portraits, capture interesting moments, and create artwork that will be more meaningful than a quick photoshoot.
If you feel where I am coming from, and you want to create some fun images, create and freeze some memories of/for yourself or of your loved ones, specifically high school seniors, fitness influencers, personal trainers, or fighters, then hit me up. If you want to get creative but don't know where to start, reach out and lets see what we can come up with, together.
